Effect of Financial Restructuring on the Financial Performance of Firms in Kenya

Corporate restructuring has become a common phenomenon around the world. It has enabled numerous organisations to respond quickly and more effectively to new opportunities and unexpected pressures so as to re-establish their competitive advantage. One of the critical aspects of corporate restructuring is financial restructuring as it focuses on the reorganization of a firm's assets and liabilities to meet its financing needs. This study will seek to examine the effect of financial
restructuring on the financial performance of firms in Kenya. The study will analyze the literature review of various studies conducted in and outside Kenya.
